At Portacool, LLC we have been producing our own rigid evaporative media since 1998. Now, as the leader in evaporative cooling technologies, we have the most advanced evaporative media available on the market.
Currently, Portacool manufactures three series of evaporative media – Kuul Control, Kuul Vitality and Kuul Evolution. Kuul Control is used in power gen, HVAC systems, and Portacool-branded portable evaporative coolers. Kuul Vitality is utilized primarily in the horticulture, poultry, and swine industries. Kuul Evolution is designed for the industrial, commercial, and data center industries.
Kuul evaporative media is the only rigid evaporative media made in the USA, which ensures excellent quality and inventory availability.

Kuul Control™ evaporative media is designed exclusively to meet the rigorous performance requirements of Portacool portable evaporative coolers. Made in our Center, Texas, United States manufacturing facility, this media features an exclusive mix of superior raw materials and a proprietary application of geometrical, intelligent design to create the optimal cooling experience. Kuul Control™ evaporative media is the driving force behind our superior cooling performance.
